$200.00 Pick documented: Saturday, 13 Apr 2019 12:14 PM

pick locked in 3 months ago

The New York Mets, currently on a three game winning streak took the first two games of the this series against Atlanta by scores of 6-2 and 6-3. On Saturday they will send Jason Vargas to the mound who is 2-2 with a 3.97 earned run average in his five career start against Atlanta.

Sean Newcomb has been very good in his career against the Mets, despite not receiving a lot of run support. Newcomb is 2-2 with a 1.82 career earned run average against the Mets. The under is 5-1 all time when Newcomb has faced the Mets.

The total is high at 10 runs, which I think is a response to Vargas getting off to a poor start to this season and his 7.13 road earned run average in 2018, but Vargas has allowed three earned runs or less in six of his last seven road starts.

I like the UNDER 10
